VII. Winter Classic Megallo Soccer Cup, in which teams from 9 rehabilitation centers/shelters competed. The organizer of the program was the Megallo Group Foundation, who has already won numerous cups at home and across Europe as well. Megallo Group is dedicated of a healthy lifestyle therefore support leisure sports, including football. The event and the award ceremony took place in Budapest in 2024 February. The best team and the best player were awarded. The supporter of the program was the NPC (Ministry of Health/National Public Health Center – NPC/Hungary). Its representative (Balázs Majzik) delivered the awards to the winners.

Within the PUSH project Megallo used the developed guideline to organize Football Cup for Homeless and disadvantaged people (7th Winter Classic Cup in Budapest). We invited to this sport event the representatives of PUSH consortium partners as well and we used our nice common experiences in further professional work and project dissemination.

According to the participants the sport event had a positive impact on the organizations and groups. Players had social and physical benefits as well and they would like to participate in similar sport activities again. Some of our partners are interested to use the PUSH guidline to organize similar sport events in the near future.
